Here we have American Artist Christopher Chiappa exhibitioning part two of his "High Fructose Corn Syrup" show currently running at the Moss and Kate Werble Gallery in NY.
The Moss Gallery will showcase 18 installation pieces consisting hand carved, resin coated and hand painted one off stools. In the post above Is the "eyeball stool",2010, hand resin, styrofoam,plastic feet, and the "graphically dipped stool". 2010, resin-covered styrofoam dipped in oil-based enamel and plastic. As well as the "Cornball", 2010, pigmented resin and spray paint over carved styrofoam 9 1/2 inches in diameter which is a handmade sculpture made up of a basketball covered in corn kernnels, in doing this, 'cornball' layers one recognisable american symbol onto another,referencing Pop Culture as well as Koons' suspended basketballs.
